Thanksgiving at Stooph & Dave’s

Before dinner:

• mushroom caps stuffed with bacon, blue cheese and spinach, and creamy crab dip

Then the ritual feast:

• squash soup wth cilantro pesto and creme fraiche
• classic turkey and gravy
• brussels sprouts with bacon
• two kinds of stuffing, regular and curried
• sauteed broccoli rabe
• pumpkin, nutmeg and rosemary rolls
• mashed potatoes
• a Brouilly, a Pinot Noir and a Cabernet
• cranberry and kumquat relish

Then a stroll to see the lights on Fourth Street, and back to the house for dessert:

• pumpkin pie
• apple pie
• pumpkin cheesecake
• assorted ice creams and whipped creams
• a nap
